Looking for legal advice about your immigration issue in Auckland?

Here’s how we can work with you…

The first thing we do with every client is develop an understanding of their case.

To help us help you, please call or email us outlining your issue, providing as many relevant details as possible, including:

  • Your full name and age
  • Where you presently live
  • What your immigration goals are
  • What stage of the application process you’ve reached
  • Whether you have timebound requirements
  • Any other issues we should be aware of

Depending on the complexity of your case, we can then book you in for either a 1-hour discovery appointment or a 60-minute Immigration Clinic with our principal immigration lawyer, Aaron Martin. See below for more details.

Get the most out of your discovery appointment

So that we make the best use of your time, please prepare all relevant documents and bring them with you. Providing as much detailed information as possible will allow us to give you the most timely, effective, and cost-effective advice.

What we will cover

Your discovery appointment is your chance to ask all your immigration questions. Our lawyers can then advise you on your case and provide an estimate of the cost and timeframe for a decision to be reached.

We will also advise you on:

  • What you should do to progress your case
  • The evidence you must provide
  • How we can assist you in the application process

At your appointment, we will provide a written Terms of Engagement detailing the work to be undertaken, our fees, and terms and conditions.

Need help with your application? Book a Clinic

If you’re already in the process of an application and your case has run into problems, we recommend that you book a 60-minute Immigration Clinic.

Our Immigration Clinic is a 60-minute appointment where we review your case and give you advice on your visa application. You’ll have the opportunity to provide the full background of your case, bring up any questions or concerns, have your documentation or your entire visa application reviewed, and get the advice you need.

Who can benefit from an Immigration Clinic

We recommend booking a 60-minute Immigration Clinic if:

  • You’ve prepared your own case and just want a professional to review your documentation to check that it meets all the necessary criteria.
  • You’re concerned about whether your case is strong enough or your documentation is adequate.
  • You feel confident you can complete all the forms yourself but simply need advice, e.g., whether you’ve picked the right strategy or have the correct documentation.

From our 25 years of experience, we know that a qualified opinion can be all some clients need to feel confident their application is complete. In other cases, clients who are not eligible can also gain the clarity they need.

We look forward to working with you and welcome your inquiries.
