Daniel Kim

Immigration Lawyer (NZIL)

Bachelor of Laws; Bachelor of Commerce; Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice. 법학, 회계학, 뉴질랜드 이민법 학위.

As a Korean-born Kiwi immigration lawyer, Daniel brings his breadth of knowledge and keen insight into the trials and tribulations clients sometimes face when applying to stay and settle in New Zealand. In addition to helping clients with immigration issues like visitor visas and residency, Daniel excels in assisting clients with appeals that arise from declined cases and Ministerial Intervention.

With a double degree in law and accounting from the University of Canterbury, multi-talented Daniel started his immigration career in 2014. During this time, Daniel worked as an immigration lawyer and advisor in New Zealand and at a global immigration law practice. Despite working on significant cases, Daniel’s determination to help his clients in a more personalised manner, especially those from his home nation, led him to join NZIL.

“I enjoy helping individual clients rather than dealing with big organisations. As part of the Korean community, I aim to provide other immigrants with the knowledge needed to secure the best immigration results for them.”

When he is not working, Daniel loves swimming for its fitness and health benefits, relaxing with family and friends and sampling some of the fantastic, multicultural food on offer at some of Auckland’s many restaurants.
